America’s Archetypal Presidency
Having just published a post concerning the US presidency to Stars Over Washington, I soon realized that I neglected to add notes concerning the conscious-unconscious Sun-Moon blend of the day that George Washington was first sworn into office on April 30, 1789. In such a mundane chart, the pair of lights symbolize leader-and-people and can reveal clues about the cosmic weather of the day and event:

The 1789 Inauguration‘s pragmatic earth-water Sun Taurus-Moon Cancer blend is, “The World Is My Family” combination, according to the Harveys’ Sun Sign-Moon Sign book. Its energies suggest one who is an ideal parent (George Washington, the ‘Father of Our Country’! and now we have Grandpa Biden), and one who brings out the best in others. A good counselor, he’s diplomatic, reliable, and of a domestic turn of mind. Plus, Sun Taurus-Moon Cancer exhibits an enduring loyalty yet can be sensitive to real or imagined slights or insults (but who isn’t?). After all, Moon-ruled Cancer is a very self-protective yet nurturing sign, and patriotic (but in a good way), while Venus-ruled Taurus is a fixed sign of stability.

Can you imagine the Republican Party of 2022 promoting and funding such a social and humanitarian benefit?
Horoscopes: Putin and Rasputin

Below is a dual image of the natal horoscopes of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin (October 7, 1952) and ‘holy man’ and con artist Grigori Rasputin (January 22, 1869). As you see the charts are messily penned upon with astro-notes and both men were born during transit Uranus in Moon-ruled Cancer (see chart for the 3 dates of Rasputin’s Uranus Return/s around the time of Putin’s birth–Uranus in Cancer tells of those who fraternize with strange or unusual people). And both were/are visionary maverick who were born under Solar Eclipses in late Leo (astrological degrees!) with different Saros Series–15 North 1868/69 and 8 South 1952, yet conjoined by degree in the 25 to 28-degree range of royal, Sun-ruled Leo.
Rasputin’s 15 North theme: joy through commitment. Putin’s 8 South: separation, loss; possible physical injury (Brady). 8 South last perfected in 2006 @29Virgo; 15 North last manifested @22Scorpio as the Prenatal Solar Eclipse (‘PE’) of Winter Solstice 2012!
And curiously, Rasputin’s and Putin’s Solar Eclipses conjoin the natal Mars and Ascendant–with royal Regulus rising–of Donald Trump (who fancies himself a ‘king’ but you may know him as a con artist and a liar) and all were activated or triggered by The Great American Eclipse of August 21, 2017 in the 1 North series, aka, The Mother of All Eclipses. The caution for Regulus: success if revenge is avoided, otherwise all that’s been gained will be taken away). 1 North themes: ‘unexpected events’ and ‘info is distorted and possibly false’ (Brady’s Predictive Astrology). Well, we’re certainly inundated by false information and so-called ‘fake news’ these days, aren’t we? And propaganda. Especially since deceptive, elusive, Neptune has been floating through its own sign of secretive Pisces and trailing paranoia, fear, flooding, leaks, contagion, fraud, scandal, and dissolving borders in its wake.
Now my intention here is to make these two natal horoscopes available online for future reference, speculative though their data may be, and naturally there are other cosmic links and time links between the two men, plus Mr. Trump. But in an effort to blog briefly, I shall close and leave them to you to sort out if and as you wish!

Spring EQ 2018: Sun Aries-Moon Taurus
Here are my astro-notes concerning Spring Equinox 2018 which perfects when the Sun reaches 00Ari00, the Aries Point on March 20, 2018 at 12:15:28 pm edt. In this post let’s focus primarily on the day’s (and thus the Spring Season’s and, some would say, the entire year’s cosmic weather until March 2019) via the Sun-Moon blend of conscious plus unconscious energies and the synergy created by this particular blend.
Additionally, a view of the Spring EQ 2018 Horoscope set for Washington DC is available if you’re curious. In the chart, you’ll see scandalous Neptune in Pisces at Midheaven and so the scandals, leaks, and cover-ups in America continue. Paranoia, fear, and contagion are unfortunately suggested as well by both Neptune and its natural sign of the Two Fishes. The good news with Neptune is that divine inspiration is always available for those open to higher aspirations than the mere temporal.
As for a general perspective on Spring EQ 2018, a consideration of its Fire-Earth Sun Aries-Moon Taurus combination suggests a time when stamina, courage, and determination are in order, while self-centeredness and personal ambition are top of the agenda for folks of a driven persuasion. However, there may be in evidence a stop-go approach to issues as egos pose obstacles to cooperation and understandably disrupt harmony.
Actually, all Fire-Earth blends hint at volcanoes in eruption and cause a ‘bulldozer’ effect within conditions which tend to reveal dictatorial attitudes where they exist. Expectably, this sort of combo of energies works well for politicians born under it. One example (though technically he is not a politician, he just feeds off them) is the recently indicted political operative Paul Manafort. In 2017 he appeared in a SO’W post I titled Paul Manafort: the Ram and the Bull for obvious sign-based reasons.
This is the blend of the ‘tactless diplomat’ which suggests recent moves toward a meeting between Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Why, some people have even suggested Kim’s pal Dennis Rodman to act as ‘diplomat’! Yes, humor and wit are part of the Sun Aries-Moon Taurus blend and this particular face-to-face of global proportions is an example of Spring 2018’s ha-has which may become all too real with hard-to-predict results.
Yet the tough vs tender Sun Aries-Moon Taurus combo is able to cut through non-essentials with intellect and a vital spirit but don’t be surprised if it sometimes likes to play devil’s advocate. Smoothing down the ruffled feathers of others is also on the Spring 2018 agenda as are entrepreneurship and the self-confidence to push for economic security. Under these energies hypocrisy cannot thrive (which bodes ill for Washington politicians!) although those who possess magnetic charm will prosper (unless other factors in the psyche interfere). One caution is not to allow jealousy or possessiveness to ruin relationships (always good advice).
So now you have my solar-lunar astro-notes on Spring Equinox 2018 some of which are gleaned from the Harveys’ excellent book Sun Sign-Moon Sign. Let’s close with a famous quote from another fellow who was born under the influence of this Fire-Earth combination, Sleepy Hollow author Washington Irving,

The ‘Abuse of Power’ Asteroid in Astrology
The name Atlantis can bring multiple images to mind – of mythical islands and modern day spacecraft among them – and for astrologers an archetype appears carrying ‘the abuse or misuse of power’ type of energy, and its position shows the place in a natal chart where the person feels ‘doomed’.
Since I follow US Politics as closely as I can stand without having to fumigate, it seldom escapes my notice when a topic or scandal begins to ‘trend’ in the 24/7 news cycle. They’re hard to miss, aren’t they? Especially since media types pound certain ‘reports’ over and over into our brains as long as we’re ‘connected’ through some tech device or other. Meanwhile, we skip along like piped children, similar to how Terrence Mckenna predicted we would -enthralled by a fascinating device that glows!
Well, if you’re curious or have missed it thus far, here’s my favorite 4 minutes of Terrence Mckenna predicting future conditions on Earth (1998 — 2012). He pretty much covers many of the outcomes we deal with today (or neglect dealing with, as the case may be). I guess with spot-on predictions ‘uncanny’ is the word yet the brief video clip contains concepts you may find worth considering if you dare!
Mckenna’s remarks encompass conditions which make possible the scandals created by the Roy Moore and Donald Trump allegations of abuse of power and harassment against young women and girls (and perhaps against others too). Theirs is bounder and cad behavior, as you know. Compulsive-obsessive, mommy issues, narcissism, hubris, master-servant complexes, misogyny, pedophilia, objectification of women, whatevs. And of course, the label ‘sociopath’ for such anti-social, over-the-line behavior is never far behind.
So naturally I had to discover the Zodiacal positions of asteroid and archetype Atlantis in the two men’s natal horoscopes. Then I wrote briefly about them so if you’re interested you’ll find my Atlantis post at Stars Over Washington along with the venerable, erudite Plato making a tiny little cameo appearance!
Of False Senators and their wrasses
May 4, 2017: Now that the Republican health insurance plan has passed the House and heads for the US Senate, I’m taking a moment to appreciate that famously deliberative body of government which We The People must now depend upon to do the right thing in spite of the Ayn-Randian notion of survival of the fittest.
To me there seems to be something fishy about the entire GOP plan especially considering the anti-government infiltrators of Washington though naturally you may choose to disagree.
So are you, dear reader, one of those “good people” Republicans favor who are in perfect health and (preferably) have boo koodles of money? Of course, Washington politicians don’t have to worry a moment about their own medical coverage but we must wonder how pleasant their breaks to go home will turn out once the wider public realizes what Republicans have done to millions of Americans while giving the wealthy classes huge tax breaks!
How will they manage to cover their wrasses?

Summer Solstice 2017: Sun Cancer-Moon Taurus
When Summer 2017 begins in June there will be a Sun Cancer-Moon Taurus vibe in the air, something of a Moon-Venus influence with Cancer ruled by the Moon and Taurus one of Venus’ favorite signs.
If you wish, view the horoscope of Summer Solstice 2017 with Trump’s natal planets penned around it. The chart is set for Washington DC as representative or symbol of our entire nation. Mr. Trump’s first natal planet to rise in the solstice chart is his quirky, radical Uranus in communicating (sometimes duplicitous) Gemini so we’ve got that going for us.
But what about the lovely Moon-Venus vibe we were talking about? This is a blend of energies that can result in excellent teaching abilities, shrewd perceptions, and subjective prejudices (not necessarily in that order!) along with a certain fussiness and values that are rooted in the past. I can think of a few neanderthal politicians who could be described by such rootedness but let’s not mention any names of the culprits.
Now in their masterful book, Sun Sign-Moon Sign, Charles and Suzi Harvey give three ‘Images for Integration’ which refer to the conscious (Sun) and unconscious (Moon) minds and energies working together for best results. Under the influence of the practical Water-Earth combo of Sun Cancer-Moon Taurus they are:
“A family photo album…A flourishing family business…A painter captures the taste and smell of a landscape.”
Oh and did I mention that this combination relates to the concept of ‘smother mothering’? Now maternalism we might have had to some degree with a Hillary Clinton presidency but instead the US government was taken in a different and well-worn direction–of “smug and strong-armed paternalism” (18 Capricorn, Jones) with the wrong-headed goal of perpetual war now more set in stone than before by neocons, Vulcans, and war profiteers.
So as the warmongers have their way with the tax payers’ money, Summer will begin and zoom toward a disruptive Solar Eclipse coming in August (29 Leo), an eclipse that ‘hits’ the natal Ascendant (physical body; Self) of Mr. Trump and ruffles his rising Mars in Leo. Will the Jupiterian Mr. Trump act as “The Great American Eclipse” visible across the entire country from Oregon to South Carolina?
Can the effects of the August 2017 eclipse , the first repetition of the 1 North Saros Series since it manifested in August 1999 as the ‘King of Terror’ eclipse predicted by Nostradamus, be symbolized as a hidden meaning of Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan? Sounds a bit too coincidental to me…but I’m the suspicious type!

Photobucket hacked and my bogus account
Cyber Crimes Abound
On May 8, 2015 the FBI arrested two men for hacking members’ accounts at Photobucket in 2014 and selling personal details and content from them. The Denver Post has the scoop.
All of which has nothing to do with the Photobucket problem I’ve been trying to ignore for months now. Today I took time to investigate.
You see, though I’ve never set up an account with Photobucket, my gmail account began receiving newsletters and ‘special offer’ emails from the popular online photo-sharing site under the name “Haydee O”. This sparked other businesses to send me similar unwanted emails, quite a deluge of them as you may imagine. And all the companies’s messages seemed to be generating from Australia and perhaps Photobucket owns them or sold my details to them.
But I was tired of deleting them all so I used the Sign In tab provided in today’s bogus Photobucket gmail to sign in to “my” Photobucket account (once my alleged password had been sent to me because I ‘forgot’ it.) Upon finding the set-up page of the account I discovered the name “Haydee O. Urbina” had been used with little personal info added to the registration form other than ‘Australian Territory’ and MY gmail address (which is easy to find on my blogs.)
Naturally as I edited the form I unsubscribed from the newsletter which I hope cuts down on the constant spamming. Then a search for “Haydee O Urbina” turned up women of various ages who sport that name (though the middle initial was not always ‘O’) yet none seemed to be associated with Australia.

So, Photobucket’s “Haydee O Urbina”, if that’s your real name, I wish you well and hope you have better things to do in the future than to set up online accounts using other people’s email addresses. You could have selected “no newsletters” but you didn’t–thanks for nothing.
In parting, I must say that besides gaining whatever you may have gained from lying on your account form, you really know how to cause others to waste way too much of their time correcting your foolish deceit!
Autumn Equinox 2013: Sun Libra-Moon Taurus
Autumn Equinox 2013 and the US Trudge to War with Syria

Summer is gone and Autumn 2013 is almost upon us in the Northern Hemisphere when the Sun ‘clocks in’ at 00Libra00:00 (+00:00 declination) conjunct US natal Midheaven (The Goal) and this year, the Moon is exalted in Venus-ruled Taurus. This cosmic circumstance for Autumn 2013 denotes a prominent Venusian influence since the planet of diplomacy, values, relationships, and the attraction principle rules both Libra and Taurus.
As you know, Taurus is a ‘money sign’ with an underbelly of greed, possessiveness, and intolerance–and Taurus does love its creature comforts, security, and luxuries if it can procure them. Sometimes diplomatic Libra, sign of balance, fairness, and the Scales of Justice, is also a war sign which spotlights what Washington and the Pentagon are determined to do to Syria–bring the Syrian people improvement by bombing, a difficult ‘sell’ these days to a war-weary American public who, thanks to what Trilateral Commission co-founder Zbigniew Brzezinski called in a recent interview a “Global Political Awakening” (see: http://www.storyleak.com/brzezinski-global-political-awakening-making-syrian-war-difficult/ ) is, he says, “making Syrian war difficult” for the US.
As if waging any war or gaining support for bombing innocent populations should be easy. In Syria’s case, the argument seems to be ‘you harmed your own people so we’ll also harm them to show that we don’t like the method you used’, a pathological excuse easily seen through by anyone with a conscience and a brain. Yes, the world agreement that no chemical weapons use is allowed was a great thing while it lasted and yet apparently such weapons are still being manufactured and sold. Hmm…
Well, keeping quixotic Washington in mind, let’s give a general consideration to the conscious-unconscious flavor of Autumn 2013 using the Sun Libra-Moon Taurus combination of the Autumn Equinox horoscope (or, Libra Ingress, if you prefer).
Signs Taurus and Libra are naturally quincunx (inconjunct = 150 degrees) one another so adjustments are needed between them though I don’t expect the public to fully accept our Nobel Peace Prize president’s strike on Syria or to accept that Washington’s Global Cop position with its *misguided actions will be adjusted to in any great degree. Sounds more like one of those ‘agree to disagree’ scenarios between the Sun (leadership; the president) and the Moon (We the People; the public), doesn’t it?
Sun Libra-Moon Taurus
This is an Air (mental)–Earth (physical) blend of rationality, efficiency, and innovation with an ability to use abstract thought to turn ideas into reality (we’ll see after President Obama’s PR blitz this week to drum up public and congressional support for intervention in Syria and after his public address on Tuesday, 9/10/13, when he ‘makes a case’ for war. And of course, the US is already in Syria “on the ground” and has been arming rebels for over a year.)
The Air-Earth blend signifies “practical idealists” planning a course of action, then acting (with or without the public or Congress’ okay–POTUS will probably get the Senate’s approval this week and skip the purposefully non-functional House of Representatives as they all shred the Constitution into confetti once again. But that view depends on whether you believe the civil war in Syria is a threat to US national security. (It threatens oil supplies to the West, more like.)
Sun Libra-Moon Taurus denotes the vanity of Venus and those who hold ‘black and white’ moral positions–or, pretend they do. There may be noted a superficial style of salesmanship and a tendency toward over-indulgence on both the material and emotional planes. The blends indicates charismatic people who can be persuasive and that’s the card that President Obama hopes to play once again this week.
This combo of energies wants to ‘make moral sense’ and I think that if our nation’s economy had been seen to on behalf of Main Street so that the ‘great American Middle Class’ was out of the financial woods, it would seem more a time for America to take action concerning the morally reprehensible use of chemical weapons on innocent people.
That the Assad administration is responsible for the use of gas in Syria is debatable at best. That false flag ops have long been used to frame others for their perpetration is known (part of Brzesinski’s “Global Political Awakening”?) and may turn out to be the seed of truth lurking within this tragic situation as Washington DC attempts to dupe the American people into bankrolling war again–all for the sake of imperialism, government-toppling, and lighting yet another fuse on the powder keg that is the Middle East.

If you do. you’ll notice that the Pluto-Chiron midpoint of plutocracy, oppression, and primal violence is rising when the chart is set for Washington DC, my former residence. Yes, I still love the District itself as a beautiful city but lament sorrowfully what the global crime syndicate of banksters and racketeers have done with the place since I left.
Also in the horoscope concerning Mr. Obama: his natal Neptune in Scorpio is conjoined now by transiting Saturn and the North Node (encounters/destiny; Saturn-NN = isolation; inhibition) which creates a midpoint picture full of possibilities which may be worth your consideration:
Transit Saturn-NN = natal Neptune: having to pay a price that was more than expected; deceit with friendship given; friends who deceive or confuse you (Munkasey); confusing others about one’s personal stand; deception, lies, fraud (Tyl); being misunderstood or lonely; separation; illness–fraud (Ebertin.)
And if we use America’s Scorpio Rising natal chart, we find the tr Saturn-NN midpoint conjoins natal Ascendant which has a ‘pulling back; appearing alone; going away’ flavor. I just wish with all my heart that Vulcan neocons and other syndicate agents of the warmongering persuasion are the ones who’d go away.
